CHAMBER LUNCHEON IS NOW SOLD OUT. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE WALK-IN SEATING. Each month the Chamber hosts a luncheon where you can come and receive updates on the Chamber and the community. The Chamber provides 80-100 attendees with the opportunity to become informed whether it’s through candidate forums, seasonal updates, or award ceremonies. Join Washington Policy Center for a special Luncheon in Tacoma on Friday, June 8th. In partnership with the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, this event will bring together business owners and community leaders to hear from policy experts. Attendees will explore and discuss the most important issues impacting both our state and the Pierce County region's policy climate. Featuring: Erin Shannon, WPC's Center for Worker Rights Director: "Why the coming Supreme Court ruling in Janus v. AFSCME means Washington may become a right-to-work state" Todd Myers, WPC's Environmental Director - "Carbon tax efforts in Washington state" Paul Guppy, WPC's Vice President for Research - "The latest on the Pierce County response to the Seattle jobs tax, a $275 per job tax credit" Washington Policy Center (WPC) is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent think tank in Washington state.
