Jun 12 Lunch & Learn 6/12/18
Lunch & Learn
Each month the Chamber hosts Lunch & Learn where you can come learn about an engaging and informational topic. With an attendance size of 25-45 people this lunch offers a great personal and social experience.
Using Employees Strengths to your Advantage Many employers make the mistake of throwing employees into a role without stopping to consider how they could most effectively benefit the organization. When you’re hiring, it shouldn't be a “one size fits all” process. It’s important to take time to analyze the individual you’re bringing on board. Fully learn about their strengths and interests in order to utilize them most effectively.
Join us at this month's Lunch & Learn for a fun exercise on how to identify your own or others' strengths, and how to apply them to your workplace to make yourself or others more efficient, competent, and fulfilled.

Small Business Roundtable (2nd Wednesday of the Month)
Stepping into the shoes of an entrepreneur can be extremely challenging, especially in a competitive world. Peer support is an essential element in starting or running any enterprise. Small Business Roundtable is a forum where small businesses can gather to discuss business issues, share solutions, and develop new ideas to help them succeed.
Facilitated by:
Aaron Schmookler

Aaron Schmookler has a passion for finding the intersection between play and innovation, and helping people live and work there.
A love of collaboration and of excellence in communication has driven Aaron to build teams and nurture creativity. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Oberlin College, Aaron began work in the corporate world, gaining appreciation for his ability to communicate, to innovate, and to find the opportunity for constructive change in every crisis.
Businesses and organizations large and small, public and private have used Aaron?s support to improve communication, increase innovation, and manage conflict on both coasts, even while he earned his MFA in Theater from UMASS.
Once, he thought his business work and his theater work were separate, but he?s learned since that they are one and the same.
