Understanding Dementia ~ New Educational Series
Are you are caring for a loved one with dementia?  If so, you know this poses many challenges for families and caregivers. People with dementia from conditions such as Alzheimer’s and related diseases have a progressive biological brain disorder that makes it more and more difficult for them to remember things, think clearly, communicate with others and take care of themselves. In addition, dementia can cause mood swings and even change a person’s personality and behavior.

Please join us for one or more in this series of four presentations about Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia to more clearly understand this disease and the challenges it may be presenting to you or a loved one. Our guest speaker will once again be Jake Gamble, and all of the presentations will be held in the Franke Tobey Jones M. J. Wick’s Wellness Center from 2:00 – 3:30p.m.

After the presentation, tours will be available of our memory care as well as our assisted living area. Enjoy beverages and a selection of yummy desserts too. It should be a very interesting and beneficial afternoon.
